Welcome to Screen Savers Movies! This blog is devoted to John DiLeo’s third and latest book, Screen Savers: 40 Remarkable Movies Awaiting Rediscovery. The purpose of this blog and John DiLeo’s book is to foster a greater appreciation for twentieth century movies that have been overlooked and forgotten. Since this is a blog, it also lets you share your thoughts and feelings about these movies, too.

As John DiLeo moderates this blog, you will quickly realize, as I have, that he has a great passion for these movies and has a host of entertaining anecdotes about their cast, writers, and directors.

The blog initially features the eight section introductions and snippets from the forty essays in John DiLeo’s book, Screen Savers: 40 Remarkable Movies Awaiting Rediscovery. I feel like a “Main Street” baker out on the cyber sidewalk offering his latest creation to all who will stop and sample it. Let us know how it tastes!
